Who We Are
The Sheet Harbour & Area Chamber of Commerce and Civic Affairs is a unique organization and supports more than local businesses. As part of the Halifax Regional Municipality, our area does not have local autonomous governance and revenue. Operated exclusively by member volunteers the Civic Affairs aspect of the organization has become a voice for residents. We support local amenities, activities and events.
Our Mission
The Sheet Harbour & Area Chamber of Commerce’s main objective is to facilitate the growth of the economy of this region, through ensuring the establishment of the requisite infrastructure for economic and social well being, while constantly being guided by our membership. We serve to maintain and create an environment that continues to grow the quality of life of our citizens through a prosperous economy and a social network that meets the needs of all.
